AYTEF LIFE-SKILLS CURRICULUM
The GameSetMatch program life-skills curriculum includes topics such as:
Everyday Decision Making
Participants develop service projects, complete resumes, and learn to be an active member of their community. To learn more, check out the AYTEF Blog or click on the button below.
SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL LEARNING
Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. There is growing evidence showing that SEL qualities rival academic or technical skills in their ability to predict employment and earnings, among other outcomes. AYTEF utilizes Hello Insight survey platforms to assess SEL outcomes for our youth.
AYTEF offers team play programs to young athletes, promoting skill development, social growth, leadership skills, sportsmanship, physical fitness, goal setting, and emotional well-being. Team play fosters overall development and prepares youth for success in various areas of life.
