Empowering Youth Through Tennis & Education

The Atlanta Youth Tennis & Education Foundation (AYTEF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that enriches the lives of underserved youth through affordable, high-quality tennis and education programs.

Based at Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta, AYTEF provides year-round support for K–8 youth through:

  • After School tennis programs (five days a week)

  • In-person and virtual academic enrichment

  • Monthly community events

  • Summer camps and competitive opportunities

Why We Serve

In a community navigating persistent economic and social challenges, AYTEF provides a safe and empowering space where youth can grow physically, academically, and emotionally.

We serve a diverse group of students: 92% of participants identify as youth of color, and more than half qualify for free or reduced lunch. Our approach is rooted in Sports-Based Youth Development (SBYD), designed to promote long-term wellness and leadership through tennis, education, and mentorship.

A Proud NJTL Chapter

AYTEF is a member of the USTA National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network, a national network of 250+ nonprofit youth tennis organizations founded by and in honor of Arthur Ashe. Inspired by his legacy, we use tennis as a vehicle for social change, health and wellness, community engagement, and personal growth.

Aanya, AYTEF Participant

"AYTEF has supported me in so many ways. What stands out the most at AYTEF is the emphasis on teamwork. Before coming here, my focus was on individual competition, but now I understand the importance of working together as a team."
