AYTEF’s mission is to enrich the lives of underserved youth through tennis and education, both on & off the court. To do this, we rely on generous donations, grants and various fundraising campaigns. Resources go towards computers, school supplies, tennis equipment, nutritious snacks, teachers and coaches. AYTEF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and donations are tax-deductible. We accept donations through our secure donations site powered by Kindful that tracks all donations and sends detailed tax receipts directly to your email. With your help, AYTEF can continue to help every child in our program to achieve greatness. For those that donated in the past, we extend a warm thank you. And, to all that plan on donating in the future, a warm thank you in advance.
Volunteering is a rewarding activity and time well spent. Thanks to our volunteers, AYTEF is able to make all of it’s Community Outreach Events free of charge. Whether you are a college or high school student, a parent of an event participant, a tennis player, a teacher, or just someone who wants to help with tennis and education, we want you! We welcome all to help who have a willing mind, a set of caring hands, a big smile and a bigger heart.
AYTEF is a nonprofit; students (college or high school) who volunteer will receive a
community service certificate or other needed documentation.
Again, thank you.
Mentoring is at the heart of everything we do at AYTEF. As the ultimate volunteer, they give of their time, expertise and resources to help youth. Community and Career Mentors both focus on helping the mentee become a mentor one day. AYTEF mentors work with youth in our program and our younger volunteers. This synergy creates a culture of giving back that enriches the community for years to come.
Community Mentors are experts who have a skill to share, an interest to show or a life skill to pass on. They help with an assortment of academic subjects, stages of athletic development, and college preparation.
Career Mentors provide invaluable experience, insights, and networking in specific career fields, helping youth in their college and secular lives. These mentors take on this task for 1 year terms as they help youth progress with real-world experience in their fields of choice.
