SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL LEARNING
Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. There is growing evidence showing that SEL qualities rival academic or technical skills in their ability to predict employment and earnings, among other outcomes. AYTEF utilizes Hello Insight survey platforms to assess SEL outcomes for our youth.
TEAM PLAY
AYTEF offers team play programs to young athletes, promoting skill development, social growth, leadership skills, sportsmanship, physical fitness, goal setting, and emotional well-being. Team play fosters overall development and prepares youth for success in various areas of life.
TEAM CHALLENGES
AYTEF's next Team Challenge will be held on Friday, February 16 from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. at Fair Oaks Tennis Center. Players will enjoy free play, cooperative play, and team competition with short timed matches.
TEAM LEAGUE PLAY
AYTEF proudly presents a competitive team of 12 GameSetMatch youth athletes, poised to conquer the USTA Atlanta Cobb League. The league kicked off on Sept. 9 and promises exhilarating matches until the grand finale on Oct 28.
