After receiving your application, AYTEF Staff will review.

AYTEF Staff will notify you of their decision regarding your application.


Scholarship Opportunities and Eligibility Criteria

AYTEF need-based scholarships are open for all AYTEF Assists approved applicants. The criteria and award requirements for each scholarship are listed below. Please review the requirements carefully before you apply.

Dave McAuley Scholarship

Awards for the Dave McAuley Scholarship are given in posthumous recognition of Mr. McAuley’s lifelong passion for the sport of tennis, as well as his dedication to the sport as a coach, captain, and youth instructor.  Scholarship funds support AYTEF youth who wish to pursue tennis or tennis related athletic opportunities that will aid their development and achievement in the sport. 



Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be be approved for financial need through AYTEF Assists.

  • Applicant must be actively involved in AYTEF as a mentor, volunteer, or participant.

  • Applicant must be currently enrolled in middle school, high school, or college. 

  • Applicant must demonstrate a history of established commitment to tennis and/or athletic development.

  • Scholarship recipients will agree to send AYTEF and the McAuley family a presentation that details the use and impact of awarded funds. The presentation will be discussed and agreed upon by AYTEF and the scholarship recipient prior to receiving funds.


Award Amount

Award amount varies based on purpose of request and available scholarship funds. Average awards range from $250 - $1,000 per applicant. Award funds will be paid directly to third-party providers when applicable. 


Applicants may apply at any point through the year. Please note that scholarships will be awarded 4-6 weeks after applications are received.
