WHO WE SERVE
AYTEF served 165 unduplicated youth with tennis and education programming in 2021. In our core program, GameSetMatch, 84% of the current program participants are self-reported as free/reduced lunch status. AYTEF is inclusive of all youth ages 5-18 regardless of gender, disability, culture or religious background, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status.
AYTEF offers year-round free community outreach events, such as Tennis in the Park and Block Parties. We also offer low-cost programs, such as GameSetMatch, Summer Tennis Camp, and STEM Learning Labs.
In 2021, AYTEF provided 255 hours of tennis instruction and 220 hours of character development and academic enrichment. Through our core program, GameSetMatch, AYTEF delivered 48 weeks of low-cost tennis, academic, and life-skills curriculum.

Research has found that youth who participate in after school and summer programs like the ones AYTEF provide see positive gains in their academics, health, attitude, and life skills. 82% of our GameSetMatch participants who participate in life-skills curriculum and academic enrichment say the program has helped them to think more positively both on and off the court. AYTEF believes that the powerful combination of tennis and education can change lives!
